Meet Lovense Fizz: Suction, Tapping & a New Kind of Clitoral Stimulation

New from Lovense: Fizz combines clitoral suction and rhythmic tapping in one app-controlled toy. But what exactly is tapping stimulation - and how is it different from the suction toys we already know and love?

If you thought you knew what a clitoral suction toy felt like, Lovense has decided to tap things up.

Meet Lovense Fizz, a new dual-ended clitoral stimulator combining two very different sensations in one toy: air-powered suction at one end and rhythmic tapping at the other.

Rather than simply offering more speeds or stronger stimulation, Fizz lets you switch between two distinctly different sensations.

And that’s what caught our attention.

So let’s take a closer look at the new Lovense Fizz, how its TwinAir technology works and whether suction + tapping could be the combination you didn’t know you needed.

What is the Lovense Fizz?

The Lovense Fizz is an app-controlled clitoral toy designed primarily for external stimulation.

Unlike a conventional vibrator, Fizz uses Lovense’s TwinAir® technology to create two different sensations through its two heads.

At one end, you have clitoral suction.

Turn it around and the other end provides rhythmic tapping stimulation.

Lovense says its TwinAir system uses a one-way valve system: as the tapping head moves, air is pushed from the chamber, creating negative pressure at the suction head.

In other words, one motor is creating two very different ways to play. Clever little thing.

Suction AND tapping? Let’s talk about the difference

This is probably the biggest question surrounding Fizz.

Because tapping isn’t just another word for vibration.

Clitoral suction

If you’ve used an air-pulse or suction toy before, this will probably be the more familiar side.

The soft silicone mouth sits around the clitoris and uses changing air pressure to create a pulsing sensation.

There’s no need to press particularly hard against the body - in fact, experimenting with positioning and pressure is very much part of discovering what feels best.

Tapping stimulation

Turn Fizz around and things get more unusual.

Rather than producing the continuous buzzing sensation you’d expect from a traditional vibrator, the tapping end creates repeated, focused rhythmic contact.

Think less: buzzzzzzzzz.

And more: tap. tap. tap. tap.

It might sound like a tiny distinction. On the body, however, the sensations can feel very different.

And having both in one toy means you’re not limited to simply making the same sensation stronger or weaker. You can change the sensation altogether.

Why combine suction and tapping in one toy?

This is where we think the idea behind Lovense Fizz becomes genuinely interesting.

Pleasure doesn’t necessarily work on a straight line from:

gentle → stronger → orgasm.

Sometimes changing what you’re feeling can be much more enjoyable than simply turning up the intensity.

You might start with gentle tapping while warming up.

Switch to suction as arousal builds.

Return to tapping if suction begins to feel too intense.

Then switch again.

There are no rules here.

And because the two Fizz heads produce distinctly different sensations, there’s plenty of scope for experimenting with what your body responds to.

Fizz could be particularly interesting for edging

If edging is your thing, we’re looking at you.

Edging usually involves approaching orgasm, reducing or stopping stimulation, allowing arousal to settle slightly and then building towards orgasm again.

Fizz introduces another option.

Instead of stopping completely, you could try switching stimulation styles.

Getting close with suction?

Flip Fizz around and move to gentler tapping.

Then switch back.

Whether that helps you prolong things will depend entirely on your body, of course.

Or you could completely ignore this advice, turn it up and see what happens.

We’re not here to police your orgasms.

A little clitoris appreciation moment

There’s another reason we like toys that encourage experimentation rather than prescribing one “correct” way to use them.

The part of the clitoris we can see is only a small part of a much larger structure.

And sensitivity varies enormously.

Some people love direct stimulation of the clitoral glans. Others find direct contact far too intense and prefer stimulation slightly above, beside or around it.

So don’t assume either end of Fizz needs to sit in one exact position.

Move it. Tilt it. Try slightly different areas.

Change the intensity.

Add water-based lubricant.

Then change it again.

Your anatomy gets the deciding vote.

How powerful is Lovense Fizz?

For those who like the numbers, Fizz can reach up to 5,200 airwaves per minute.

But we’d strongly resist interpreting that as:

“Excellent. Straight to 5,200 then.”

More power doesn’t automatically mean more pleasure.

Fizz has three steady levels alongside preset patterns, with considerably more customisation available through the Lovense Remote app.

Particularly with focused clitoral stimulation, starting low and working upwards gives you much more opportunity to discover what actually feels good.

Lovense Fizz specifications

Here’s the important stuff:

  • Stimulation: clitoral suction + rhythmic tapping
  • Technology: Lovense TwinAir®
  • Maximum speed: up to 5,200 airwaves per minute
  • Material: body-safe silicone and ABS
  • Weight: approximately 125g
  • Waterproof: IPX7
  • Battery life: up to 105 minutes
  • Charging time: approximately 64 minutes
  • Standby time: up to 120 hours
  • App control: yes
  • Custom patterns: yes

So despite having two stimulation heads, Fizz remains relatively compact and easy to hold in hand.

Lovense Fizz + the Lovense Remote app

This wouldn’t really be a Lovense article without talking about the app.

Fizz connects to the Lovense Remote app, giving you much more control than the buttons on the toy alone.

Through the app you can experiment with intensity, create your own patterns and explore different ways of controlling Fizz.

You can also create patterns and save up to 10 of your own patterns directly to Fizz.

So when you eventually discover that rhythm, you don’t necessarily need to recreate it every time.

Very considerate.

Can you use Lovense Fizz long-distance?

Yes - and this is one of the reasons Lovense toys have become particularly popular with couples.

Once connected through the Lovense Remote app, control can be handed to a partner remotely.

That could mean they’re lying next to you.

In another room.

Or considerably further away.

For couples in long-distance relationships, Fizz can become part of video calls, date nights or simply an unexpected little interruption to an otherwise perfectly innocent evening.

And because Fizz offers two types of stimulation, there’s rather more for your partner to experiment with than simply turning vibration up and down.

Trust is required - but so are consent and open communication. Giving someone control of your pleasure doesn’t mean giving up your voice. Talk about what feels good, what doesn’t, your boundaries and how you’ll communicate if you want something changed or stopped.

Importantly, the Lovense app allows you to communicate with your partner while you play, so distance doesn’t have to mean losing that connection. You can talk, respond and guide each other as you discover what works for your body.

After all, handing over control can be incredibly exciting.

But being able to say “yes, exactly that” is rather useful too.

Can Fizz connect with other Lovense toys?

Yes, Fizz sits within the wider Lovense ecosystem and can be used alongside other compatible Lovense toys.

This opens up some particularly interesting possibilities for couples.

Pair external stimulation from Fizz with something like the Lovense Lush 4 for internal G-spot stimulation, for example, or incorporate other Lovense toys when playing together or long-distance.

If you’re already invested in the Lovense ecosystem, Fizz therefore adds a genuinely different sensation rather than simply giving you another vibrator.

Lovense Fizz vs Tenera 2: what’s the difference?

This is likely to be one of the biggest questions if you’re already familiar with Lovense.

Both Fizz and Tenera 2 provide app-controlled clitoral suction.

But they’re not quite the same proposition.

Tenera 2 is primarily a dedicated suction toy.

Fizz combines suction AND tapping stimulation.

Fizz can reach up to 5,200 airwaves per minute compared with Tenera 2’s listed maximum of 4,500 pulses per minute, although we’d argue that raw numbers shouldn’t be the deciding factor.

The more important question is:

Do you want dedicated suction, or do you want the ability to switch between two completely different sensations?

If you already know that suction is absolutely your thing and that’s what you’re looking for, Tenera 2 remains an excellent option.

If you’re curious about switching between suction and focused rhythmic tapping, Fizz offers something rather different.

Who is Lovense Fizz for?

Fizz could be particularly interesting if you:

  • love clitoral suction toys but want more variety
  • want to experiment with tapping rather than traditional vibration
  • enjoy direct, rhythmic clitoral stimulation
  • like edging or changing sensations during play
  • want app-controlled pleasure
  • are in a long-distance relationship
  • enjoy handing control to a partner
  • already own Lovense toys and want something different to add to your collection

It could also be an interesting first suction toy if you’re drawn to having more than one stimulation option.

On the other hand, if you know you only want straightforward vibration, Fizz probably isn’t the obvious choice.

And that’s completely fine.

The best sex toy isn’t necessarily the one with the longest feature list.

It’s the one whose features actually appeal to you.

How do you clean Lovense Fizz?

Fizz has an IPX7 waterproof rating, making cleaning relatively straightforward.

We always recommend cleaning all toys before and after every use and drying it thoroughly before storing.

Because of the design, we’d pay particular attention to cleaning around both stimulation heads, and leaving to air dry before storing away.

And when it comes to lubricant, as the Fizz is made of silicone, we recommend using water-based lubricant only with Fizz. A little around the clitoris and the head of the toy can also make experimenting with placement much more comfortable.

Is Lovense Fizz worth it?

We’ve tried it. We’ve tested it. We’ve thoroughly road-tested this bad boy.

And our verdict?

If you enjoy clitoral stimulation, Lovense Fizz is a winner.

What really stood out to us wasn’t simply the power - although there’s certainly plenty of that - but the difference between the two sensations.

The combination of suction and rhythmic tapping gives you much more variety than simply moving through stronger and stronger settings on a traditional toy. Being able to flip between the two makes Fizz feel genuinely different - and gives you plenty of room to discover which sensation, intensity and rhythm works best for your body.

It’s powerful, playful, app-controlled and versatile enough for solo, partnered and long-distance play.

And after putting it properly through its paces?

Fizz has absolutely earned its place in the Fable & Femme collection.

Modern intimate wellness. Thoughtfully curated. Unapologetically yours.
